Public notices, also called legal notices, include estate and probate notices to creditors, notices of hearings, and summonses by publication, as well as notices of publication and amendments for LLCs, articles of incorporation and articles of amendment for both for-profit and non-profit corporations. Current law does not rquire corporate and LLC notices to be published.
The Ajo Copper News is adjudicated to publish public notices in Pima County, Arizona. We are located in Ajo, about 130 miles southwest of Tucson.DEADLINES:

Be sure to include your name and billing address on the cover letter. (If you mail the material, please do not send us the original articles since they will not be returned to you!)

Invoices are mailed the first week of publication to clients with established accounts. We require payment in advance from clients without established accounts with us. We accept checks and major credit card as well as payments made through Quickbooks.
Affidavits of publication will be mailed to the person or business placing the order following final publication and receipt of payment. You will receive two affidavits: one to file and one for your records. We do not file the affidavits with the ACC or the court system.

Public notice ad rate is $5.50 per column inch per publication.
We reset all notices in 6 point type, the smallest size allowed by law. Prices vary according to the length of the notice after we have reformatted it. Following are very rough estimates of the costs of some of the documents we publish most often. There is a discount for notices sent as text typed in MS Word documents.If you want an exact price quote, please send us the material to be published and request a price quote before publication. We must have material for price quotes by 4 p.m. Wednesday to allow time for processing. Price quotes must be approved by 5 p.m. Thursday for the notice to begin publication in the next issue.
Notice to Creditors: Most Notices to Creditors using a standard format cost in the $30-$45 range.
Notice of Hearing: Cost depends both on length and the number of publications. Notices of Hearing running one week usually cost under $35. Notices of Hearing running three weeks are usually under $65 Notices of Hearing running four weeks are normally under $75.
Summons: Most summonses start at $125. Cost varies according to length.
LLC formation: There are two formats that used for initial LLC organization and cost may vary according to the number of members and/or managers listed. Publication of Articles of Organization usually costs in the $80-$110 range; publication of the Notice of Filing – titled "Notice (for publication)" in the paperwork the ACC sends on approval – is less expensive, usually running in the $30-$40 range. Either may be published; it is not necessary to publish either. State law does not mandate publication within Pima County.
LLC amendment: Articles of Amendment to Articles of Organization vary widely in price depending on the format. Those who use the ACC form will usually have a bill in the $80-$120 range. State law does not mandate publication within Pima County.
Incorporation: Articles of Incorporation vary widely in cost according to length. Many run in the $100 to $150 range . Longer items will cost more. State law does not mandate publication within Pima County.
Articles of Amendment: Articles of Amendment to Articles of Incorporation for for-profit corporations often start at about $75 and non-profits at $50. State law does not mandate publication within Pima County.
